Time Machine Vol. 1
I was having a discussion with some friends of mines and we were talking music. During the debate we touched on several topics, some we agree on like greatest rapper(Jay-Z) and greatest era of music(1970's). Then we got to bands that's where it got iffy. So three grown men are arguing about the best band ever. One person who is white said Aerosmith reasonable choice, my other friend who is Indian said The Rolling Stones again another logical choice. This is where I get a little hot, how can you talk bands or music for that matter without mentioning George, Paul, Ringo, and John? Better known to the world as The Beatles. They are the standard for music groups. I know this is cliche' and I hate myself for using this but they are your favorite artist's favorite artist. Since their American emergence in the early 60's they have set the world on fire. The Beatles single handily killed the Doo Wop era of the 50's.
I remember when I first heard them I was 6 years old living in Germany. We were cleaning up the house and my mom put on The White Album I been hooked ever since. From Yellow Submarine to Helter Skelter every song was perfect. With George Harrison on bass, Ringo Star on drums, and with John Lennon and Paul McCarthy writing and singing the song it was a perfect combination. Every genre of music has took from their sound. What group you know has a 5 year stretched named after them? There isn't a Stones Era or Aerosmith time, but there was a Beatlemania. If you ask a Beatles fan a REAL Beatles fan everyday for a week straight I guarantee you will get 7 different answers. That's because you can't single out one song, it truly is what you are feeling at the time. Even after their break-up and long after they all pass on there will always be The Beatles.

I really like how you're reflecting upon your years in Germany, cause really you're an international person speaking on international music..something not done by many more biased music sites..
Keep it up!
