Hidey-Ho from the top of the globe. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, Boxing Day, or Hanukkah whatever you choose to celebrate.
The new year is approaching and with that comes new new music. With that being said it's finally done. Charles Hamilton's long awaited mixtape Normalcy is out. If you know me you that I have been a fan of Sonic's since he first came out but I wasn't impressed with this mixtape. The first single 'New Music from Charles Hamilton' got my attention then he just went off on a tangent. He addresses some of the reasons of his abrupt disappearance and release from Interscope with the rightly title 'Enter the Scope'. He also talks about the future in '20hamil10'. All and all it felt forced, the beats were incredible but the lyrics were iffy. It does seem like this past year has made Chuck look in the mirror and grow up. It is a good comeback EP and I am looking forward to more from the Harlem rapper. All I can really say is Charles Hamilton is back!
