All Hail the Queen!!!
Have you ever had someone that just made such a difference in your life you know deep down inside you could never physically repay them? That was the relationship I had with my homegurl Khia Edgerton BKA DJ K-Swift. She was an amazing person, no task was too small or too big. She didn't care if you were the biggest star or a homeless person she would extend her hand to help. Today is her birthday but we can't spend it together because she passed away last year. She was a true angel and now she is my guardian angel. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be where I am at today. She was the force that drove me to succeed and strive to be the best.
Her legacy that she leaves behind is her charity work and her music. We are from Baltimore so we enjoy a style of music called club music many of you call it house music. In the world of Club Music Khia was the Queen. Any party and artist must give credit to the Queen, before her passing she taking Baltimore music to another level with a new genre of music called Club Hop. It was a mix between Club Music and Hip Hop. With many artist like Deuce Trey Deuce, James F. Vegas, Molo Yueng, Young Bread, Bossman, Mully Man, Smash and Crip, and many other artist making their way up the charts.
When it is all done she left a legacy that will last forever. We lost an Icon, a Saint, and a great person. More importantly I lost a friend. I love you Khia I'll mourn you until I join you.
