Who is the best?

Labels: , , , , , , , ,

Well there are a gang of females that call themselves the queen. Some deserve consideration and some don't need to bother rhyming. I barely narrowed it down to five females.(No particular order)

1. Lauyn Hill - L-Boogie is unquestionably a fierce lyrist but fell off after starting a family. Notable verse "Talking out your neck sayin' you're a Christian a Muslim sleeping with the ginNow that was the sin that did Jezebel inWho you gon' tell when the repercussions spinShowing off your ass 'cause you're thinking it's a trend" From Doo Woop off The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album

2. Lil Kim - Brash delivery, amazing sarcarrogance, and unbelievable fashion icon. Kimberly Jones has made her stamp on the game. From her beefs to keeping her ghetto pass by not telling on a friend(stupid ass). The Queen Bee has a rightful stake to the throne. Notable verse - "What the hell do you want from me?I'm just tryin to be all that I can beI'm a god damn legacyThanks to B.I.G. and Puff DaddyThe first lady runs the world nowThey impeached the president from his residenceNo one drops bombs til I say so One-two, one-two-three GO!" From I'm Human off the Notorious K.I.M. album

3. Rah Digga - Digga made her debut on The Fugee's The Score CD in 1996 and she has been blazing the game ever since. Her sarcarrogance unmatched the former Flipmode first is from the old cloth of rhymers of need to be the best on the verse. Notable verse - "Mind travels like a skitzo on two tabs with doo rags hangin from my pockets[Me] Me, the rap bitch that goes back to pediatricsEarly left rappers like you were straight vexin [So]So recognize, I make a nigga eyes come alive off of five two fives" Tight off the Dirty Harriett album

4. Remy Ma - Ms. Martin is one of the new breed of hardcore rappers. The Bronx MC has been making her way since her debuting on Big Pun's Yeah Baby CD. Sheus Khryst was on her way to taking the throne with bangers like "Whatever" and "Conceited" until a recent shooting land her in jail for 5 years. But I'm sure upon her release Remy will have some fire for us again. Notable verse - "there aint a bitch as ill as me no bitch as real as me shit i live where the stealers, drug dealers, killers be" She's Gone off the There's Something about Remy album

5. Eve - Ruff Rydas first lady is the epitome of every category of the queen. Verses are crazy, sarcarrogance through the roof, and if you put her in a cypher I guarantee it will be a problem. She made the best transition from Hollyhood to Hollywood. Every song, show, or movie she is in is a banger. Eve Jeffers knocked down the door of a male dominated industry with her hard rhymes and serious sarcarrognce. She let her talent not her body sell herself. Notable verse "I show love to, all my bitches hustlin one'z, tussle wit thievesMakin moves, second to none, I locked it, uhMade a sudden move you got bitFlooded wit the double R, real street shit" Senario 2000 off the Ruff Rydas First lady album.

Quotes:

L-Boogie: "Who you gon' scrimmage, like you the championYou might win some but you just lost one." Lost ones

Lil Kim: "I'm the highest, your highest title, numero unoI'm not a Puerto Rican but I'm speakin so that 'ju know" No matter what they say

Rah Digga: " Watch these rap b***hes get all up in your pockets Then bounce with accountants that give me good stock tips Cause props is up, Digga's through the roof Burnin' n***ers like I'm 90 proof." Cowboys

Remy Ma: "Me without rhymes is like a flynt with no flash Stripper with no ass, car with no gas Tryin to go fast, I love to hear the guns go blast" Ms. Martin

Eve: "Now who's fake who's realTop chick in the game wear the crown still/Yeah... I vacated for a while/Moca tan got your man gone wild" Who's Real remix

Interesting, I didn't know Lauryn Hill was considered a rapper..either way she's at the top of my list for a lot of things..
Despite my genre of choice, I am actually a fan of lil kim, especially a song that helps me vent..but I don't know if I would have an opinion that matters for best female rapper..
Luvin that you included a video..and the lip licking haha..

Hm, this is a tough one, but out of all the ones you mentioned, I'd have to say Lauryn Hill. I know it was tough to narrow it down to 5, but my other 2 I'd include would be Missy Elliot and MC Lyte

I had them on there at first but MC lyte is the Blueprint of a female MC and Missy has transended any genre of music. It was really hard to narrow it down.
